Defination
1.Matter is the basic substance of which all materials ,living and non-living are made of.
2.Matter is anything that occupies space , has mass and can be perceived by the senses.
3.Matter can neither be created nor be destroyed.
4.Matter made up of one kind of particles i.e. homogenous is called a ‘substance’.
5.Matter exists in the three states –
SOLID,LIQUID,GASES.
